It’s so lovely to meet you!
Welcome to my page! I am so honored and grateful to have you here!
I am Mirthubashine (Mirthu), a certified Somatic Parenting Practitioner certified in the Conscious Parenting method and currently training in the Compassionate Inquiry approach. I work with parents, caregivers, and adults on a journey of re-parenting themselves.
My journey into motherhood a decade ago led me to become intentional about my self-healing journey; however, in 2020, I realized I needed to go deeper into my healing. That is when I embarked on a guided and supported journey of re-parenting myself with a focus on learning my belief systems and triggers, processing my emotions, and understanding my nervous system, survival responses, and my relationship with myself, particularly my younger self. As I journeyed through, I also applied somatic experiencing to my tools, which has been vital in my healing journey. Through this work, the profound transformations within me inspired me to find purpose in becoming a vessel for those on a similar healing journey, disrupting generational patterns and re-parenting themselves.
I take a somatic and trauma-aware approach to my sessions, where I guide you to safely connect to and feel your unprocessed/suppressed emotions beneath your triggers, especially those familiar to your inner child/teen or younger self, and practice nurturing your inner child/teen or younger self. My approach combines the learnings, tools, and wisdom I gained from my healing journey, the Conscious Parenting method, and the Compassionate Inquiry approach.
We can revive our inner healer when we feel safe, held, and supported in a safe container. Safety empowers us to tune in with our emotional bodies and feel unprocessed/suppressed emotions such as anger, fear, grief, sadness, etc. I intend to provide that safe container for you to explore and process your triggers, survival responses, and emotional wounds and feel empowered to become your own healer.
Embarking on a journey of healing and re-parenting does not mean we are broken or need fixing; it is a journey of creating acceptance, compassion, and safety within ourselves to remember, revive, and reconnect with our wholeness, inner power, and inner resilience. It is a journey of transforming and deepening our connection to our whole self and true essence.
